Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect   for the RWESS contract, supporting the Army Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Redstone Arsenal, AL

JOB STATUS: Full Time  

TRAVEL:  X%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Minimum 4-year degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data
• Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field or 10plus years' experience in related fields .
• Deep knowledge of common programming languages (Python, R, Julia), data science packages and frameworks (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, tidyr, tidyverse).
• Advanced Knowledge of common data management and reporting technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases), Enterprise level data architecture. Background working with common data visualization tools.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• RTC Data Architects will serve as the experts responsible for the implementation of the policies and guidelines defined by the Data Governance Board. 
• Data Architects will provide Data Stewards with direction and work with the RTC S6 to provide technologies to implement the RTC Data Strategy.
